Lab Setup

Turnkey drone design and manufacturing lab setups for schools, colleges, and skilling centres.

Lab Setup

Turnkey labs, sized to the institution

Not every institution needs the same lab. We work in three broad tiers — schools and early STEM programs, polytechnics and undergraduate skilling centres, and engineering colleges or institutional R&D setups — and scale hardware, software, and curriculum support to match.

Tier 01

Basic Lab

Schools & early STEM / ATL programs

A foundational setup for first exposure to drone technology — safe, durable equipment built around guided assembly and flight basics rather than open-ended experimentation.

Guideline Component Set
  • Crash-resistant training quadcopters (programmable / block-coding compatible)
  • Basic workbench tools — screwdriver sets, soldering iron, multimeter
  • Spare parts starter kit — propellers, motors, batteries
  • Indoor flight safety netting or enclosure
  • Introductory curriculum — aerodynamics, sensors, and safety basics
  • Instructor onboarding & lesson plans

Tier 02

Intermediate Lab

Polytechnics, skilling centres & undergraduate programs

A hands-on build-and-fly setup for students moving from flying drones to understanding, assembling, and tuning the systems themselves.

Guideline Component Set
  • FPV / multirotor build kits — frames, motors, ESCs, flight controllers
  • Flight simulator stations
  • Ground control station software — mission planning & telemetry
  • Diagnostic tools — oscilloscope, signal generator, PCB prototyping boards
  • Expanded spares & maintenance kit
  • Intermediate curriculum — flight-controller tuning, telemetry, and regulation basics
Advanced drone lab with multiple workstations, a 3D printer, oscilloscopes, and dual-monitor mission-planning software
Tier 03

Advanced Lab

Engineering colleges & institutional R&D centres

A research-grade setup for advanced design, autonomy, and payload work — built for capstone projects, applied R&D, and institutional innovation-lab mandates.

Guideline Component Set
  • VTOL / fixed-wing development stations
  • 3D printing station for custom frames & payload housings
  • Advanced payload & sensor integration — GPS, gimbal, thermal modules
  • Autonomous flight & mission-planning software stack
  • Full netted indoor flight enclosure with safety padding
  • Faculty certification & curriculum-mapping support

This is a guideline framework based on common practice for institutional drone labs. Exact components, quantities, and pricing are confirmed per institution during a requirements visit.
